PENNGUARD™ BLOCK LINING SYSTEM

PENNGUARD™ Block Lining System is an insulating, acid resistant barrier comprised of impermeable, closed-cell, foamed borosilicate glass PENNGUARD™ Blocks. The blocks are applied to the interior surfaces of pollution abatement and chemical process equipment with PENNGUARD™ Adhesive/Membrane, a flexible urethane asphalt elastomer.

PENNGUARD™ Block Lining System is commonly used as a primary corrosion barrier in the chimneys and ducts of coal-fired power plants with flue gas desulfurization and as insulation behind brick or tile linings in scrubbers and other chemical process vessels. Suitable for use on concrete, steel, acid brick, and fiberglass substrates, PENNGUARD™ Block Lining System offers versatility for new construction and retrofit applications.
